Splendid black and white — works so well with those rocks…
I haven’t lived there for over 40 years, but now I’m homesick for a bit of the Monterey Peninsula…

Ah, Carmel… I love that area of California! Beautiful shots Adam 🙂 No words necessary.
What a gorgeous area! Great shots, too!
It looks like you had a beautiful day– a bit of fog (marine layer) and a bunch of sunshine. Beautiful depiction of the area. Thanks for sharing.
Looks like a terrific hike, and absolutely wonderful photos of such a beautiful place.
I don’t know why I love black and white landscapes so much. There is something so wonderful in the deepened contrast in the photos.
Heidi: Thanks – the Monterey area is one of our very favorite places anywhere.
Montucky: Thank you!
Mary: Yes, we had both weathers 🙂 We’re hoping for a sunny weekend coming up, as we will be in the area again (arranging wedding vendors)
Louise: It was doubly nice because, in an area with a very high tourist density, it seemed like mostly locals who were hiking/dog-walking here.
ScienceGuy: Me too – B&W’s great.
Beautiful series of images, compositions are pretty amazing

Donald: it’s sure a lovely area, isn’t it?
These landscapes are gorgeous! Hopefully one day I can do as well! It’s in my nature to zoom in thoughtfully but to zoom out as well? impressive!!!
Thanks, Lori!

Thanks, Bernie!
