Your first photo of the Crayola Crayons – that was cool. I don’t know if it was original or unique, but I thought it was. You captured the essence of city folks enjoying themselves in both events. Your second to last photo looked like “wall-to-wall” people. It didn’t look like anyone could move around much.
Monarch: Indeed, although there is something of a same’ness to all of the neighborhood street fairs, as they largely feature the same vendors. Of course some (Castro St., Folsom St.) definitely have a “unique” bent 😉
Mary: Yep, the Haight St. Fair was (and usually is) quite crowded, but folks were moving – just slowly.
Bernie: 🙂 I like them – I usually get a sausage from their booth at any of our street fairs. It’s hard to beat outdoor-grilled meats!

Looks like a fun Street Party!
