After entirely too long, I managed to find a little time to go for a bird walk at the baylands after work yesterday. Mostly the usual suspects, but there’s a good variety of winter ducks there now.
A Eurasian Wigeon was a particularly nice find as I’ve only seen one of them previously, at Grey Lodge in late 2004. A friendly Anna’s Hummingbird let me get very close – hopefully I got a few good photos of it.
